City Blue

I decided to take in my surroundings. I'm laying on a featherbed of tall grass that caresses me into comfort on this night. It's approximately 5:30 PM and the sun is practically gone. I look out over the city and enjoy the nice breeze that comes my way. It's not one of those wimpy summertime breezes, but one that really makes you feel it without being too rough or too cold. With the wind through my hair, I look up to the sky, patches of clouds are able to be seen with the illumination from what is left from the sun. Dark blue, ocean blue, royal blue, and other shades have covered the sky and are randomly placed with the clouds. Over on my left side is the moon, shining like it ever does in the night. A half crescent just staring at me with its powerful glow. I finally fall asleep watching the dark blue clouds, the brightly glowing moon, and the bright city lights around me.
